·      Congrats to Peter McMahon and Christine Cipriani, whose book Cape Cod Modern won a prize.  Attend a reception in their honor at the Plymouth Public Library, 132 South Street, Plymouth, MA. Sunday, November 15, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.


·      Care about crows?  Don’t want to see them poisoned?  The Cape Cod National Seashore released its comprehensive shorebird management plan with an associated environmental assessment (EA) for public and agency review. An analysis of alternatives and their potential impacts to the environment and park resources are presented in the EA. A public open house will be held on November 17, 2105 from 4-7 pm at the Salt Pond Visitor Center, 50 Nauset Road, Eastham, MA. The open house will provide information and opportunity to comment on the plan.


·      Celebrate the fact that Pilgrim will close.  Potluck at Prez. Hall, Thursday, November 19, 6-9.


·      Due to a grant from the Wellfleet Cultural Council, the Harbor Stage Company will present a bit of off-season programming this year.  Enjoy a staged reading of Brenda Withers’s new play about a small town writer struggling to turn in his first honest review.  Friday, November 20, 7 pm, at the Wellfleet Library.


·      Harvest Farmers Market again this year, at Prez. Hall, Saturday morning November 21, 9 a.m.
